Thousands Pack Churchill For The Kentucky Oaks

It' was all about the ladies Friday in Louisville. The 135th running of Kentucky Oaks took place Friday afternoon.

Thousands of people spent the day, enjoying the horses and the hats at Churchill Downs, anticipating the featured race.

In the end, the race wasn't even close. Rachel Alexandra pulled away from the field to win in convincing fashion.

Speaking of fashion, this year, the organizers of the Kentucky Oaks organized a "pink out." They encouraged racing fans to wear pink in an effort to raise awareness for breast cancer.
