Fire Officials Investigate Suspicious Apartment Fire in Lexington

An investigation is underway after a suspicious fire at a Lexington apartment complex.

The fire broke out at the University Commons Apartment Complex on Red Mile Road early Wednesday morning.

The fire started on the deck of an apartment. Fire officials say they still don't know what caused the fire, but say the fire is suspicious because they could not find anything noticeable that would spark the flames.

There was minimal damage to the apartment.
