A man having trouble with his truck ends up pinned underneath the truck and dragged.
Lexington police say 66-year-old Reid Smallwood was having problems with the truck on New Circle Road and Eastland Parkway on Monday afternoon. We're told the Smallwood got out of the truck and went underneath it to see what could be causing the problem.
But that's when police say the truck slipped into gear somehow and ran over the man. He was pinned and dragged under the truck for sometime.
The crash happened just before five near the intersection of New Circle Road and Eastland Drive.
Two firefighters who saw the accident helped stop the truck. Fire crews had to lift it off of Smallwood.
Police say the man was taken to UK Hospital with life-threatning injuries. He's now listed in critical condition.
