Fayette County Schools Superintendent Stu Silberman Undergoes Another Surgery

Fayette County schools superintendent Stu Silberman is recovering from a second surgery at U.K.

We're told doctors were concerned that an incision from his first surgery wasn't healing correctly and there was a risk of infection.
His doctor says the procedure is common with this type of injury.
Silberman remains in good condition and there is no word on when he'll be released.

In the meantime employees at the superintendent's office say they are keeping things in running order.

Silberman has been at UK Hospital for more than a week now, after a serious bicycle crash. He's already had one surgery to repair a broken collar bone and pelvis.

When Silberman is well enough, he's expected to be transferred to Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Center.
