In just three weeks, Lexington voters will decide who should take over Kentucky-American Water.

Last night, those on both sides of the issue sounded off in the debate.
Lexington Vice Mayor Mike Scanlon, who's against the city acquiring the water company, spoke at the forum.

Foster Ockerman, who's with Bluegrass FLOW, was also in attendance.

If residents vote yes on the referendum, it would still take months or even years before takeover of the water company.
