Arrest Made In Lexington Murder

Lexington Police make an arrest in an early morning murder.

Investigators charged 21 -year old George Lynn Terry.
Police say he killed a man who's body was found outside of the Coolavin Apartments on Sixth Street.

Investigators have not released the name of the victim or how he died.
Police say the victim is a white man in his early 20's.
The body was found around 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

Police say reports were made of shots being fired in the area, at the time when the body was found. Yet neighbors say hearing gunshots in the area isn't very rare.

Terry is charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence.
He also faces drug charges stemming from his arrest.
