Police Investigate Sexual Assault Case Near UK Campus

UK Assault Case

Police say an unknown man broke into a woman's apartment Friday on University Avenue and sexually assaulted her.

The apartment complex is just off the University of Kentucky campus. Police have interviewed the victim who is in her 20's.

Police say the suspect is described as a male black in his early 20's, approximately 5'5", 140 pounds, and a dark complexion. The suspect was last seen wearing a red t-shirt under a dark hoodie and sweatpants.

Police say there are no signs of forced entry, but that the suspect was not invited into the apartment.
