GEORGETOWN, Ky. (AP) - An emergency management employee in
central Kentucky has been charged with possessing child pornography.
The Lexington Herald-Leader reported that 38-year-old Eric Dwayne Westerfield of Georgetown was arrested Tuesday after police say they found several images in his home portraying the sexual performance of a minor younger than 13.
He was charged with eight felonies.
Court records showed Westerfield posted bond and was scheduled to appear in Scott County Circuit Court on May 19. No attorney for him was listed.
Westerfield is a captain with the Scott County Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security.
