A northern Kentucky man, accused of killing his wife, will have a shell out a pretty penny to get out of jail.
The Kentucky Post reports 30-year-old Woody Smith is in jail on a $1 million bond.
Police say Smith strangled his wife, Amanda Smith, with an extension cord inside their Dayton home and then tried to kill himself by overdosing on pills.
The couple had been married for about eight years and have two children, who are now in the care of relatives.
