Former Knox County Coroner Dies

A tractor accident has claimed the life of a well known Knox County resident.
Jerry Garland, the former coroner of Knox County died Sunday afternoon. Police say he was mowing a field with a tractor when it flipped and pinned him.
The coroner says Garland was widely known in the area and owned several businesses including G&M Oil.
