Updated: Tue 6:14 PM, Oct 24, 2006

The head of Fayette County schools is now out of the UK hospital.

Doctors transferred Superintendent Stu Silberman Tuesday to Cardinal Hill for rehabilitation.

Silberman spent more than two weeks at UK after breaking his pelvis and collarbone in a bicycle accident.

He's expected to stay at cardinal hill for 10 days.

Silberman has already started to return some emails and hopes to be able to do more work from home soon.
