The daughter of a social services worker killed while on the job, is now hoping for changes after her mother's death sparked an Amber Alert.
Police say 67-year-old Boni Frederick was beaten to death while supervising a custodial visit between Renee Terrell and her nine month old son.
Terrell and her boyfriend are now charged with murder.
Frederick's daughter Sandy Travis says if a home is too dangerous for a child to be in, then no one should have to go to that home. Travis says instead, social services workers should meet parents in neutral areas.
Travis says she wants to work with the state to make the changes.
