Some storms are possible during the morning and afternoon on Tuesday. Damaging winds and flooding will be the main threats. With an already soaked ground, expect strong winds to easily bring down some trees.
Homeowners are picking up the pieces after a tornado ripped through Central Kentucky, hitting neighborhoods like East Point Subdivision near Waco in Madison County.
Before contractors begin their work, Madison County Planning and Zoning inspectors will survey nearly 100 homes damaged in the storm to make their own assessments.
It's a measure the county says it wants to take to make sure homes are structurally sound and that homeowners don't fall victim to scams.
