Scattered showers and storms continue to push across the region. Local high water issues remain possible through the evening.
He says it's amazing how devastation has brought Kentucky together. That reaction came Tuesday from Governor Beshear as he toured tornado damage across the state.
He started his tour in the Kirksville community of Madison County, talking to storm victims about their experiences with the EF-3 twister.
Beshear says he's proud of how Kentuckians have come together to help out in this time of trial.
He also says the state will help those hardest hit and he plans to also ask for help from the federal government.
The governor was also conducting fly-over tours of Garrard, Owsley, Breathitt and Floyd counties on Tuesday afternoon, as well as tours on the ground in Floyd, Perry and Pike counties.
