Very slow moving showers and thunderstorms will move into our area overnight and Sunday. The potential for flooding will be heightened in southern and eastern Kentucky.
YUMA, Ariz. (AP) - Two U.S. Marines killed in a weekend auto accident in southwestern Arizona have been identified as residents of Kentucky and Alabama.
One other Marine was hurt when the sedan the three were riding in went off a road north of the Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma, early Sunday, hit a power pole and careened into an orchard.
The sheriff's office in Yuma County identified the driver as 21-year-old Donald R. Clouse of Millport, Ala., who died at the scene. Also killed was 23-year-old Kelli Rawlings of Frankfort, Ky. She died at a local hospital.
Levi Marshall of Idaho Falls, Idaho, was flown to a hospital in Phoenix where the 21-year-old was in serious condition on Tuesday.
A sheriff's statement says alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
