Another roller coaster at the gas pump, but this time gas prices are up.
If you had to fill up with gas this morning you probably had to shell out more money.

Prices jumped around 20 cents last night in Lexington. It's now around $2.29 a gallon for regular unleaded at most stations. It's been around six weeks since pump prices have been this high.

This latest jump comes after crude oil prices rose more than $2.00 a barrel yesterday to $61.00 a barrel. It's after Nigerian villagers attacked oil facilities.

This is just in time for those heating bills natural gas prices also increased.
