The case against a man accused of breaking into a home, beating two people, and killing one of them during a burglary went back in front of a judge Wednesday.
Police say Gary Stone broke into a home at the Fair Trial Farm on the Fayette-Bourbon County line, earlier this year and assaulted Bartner Mastin and his sister-in-law, Pauline Mastin. Pauline Mastin died.
Stone appeared before a Bourbon County Judge Wednesday morning as police detectives testified about what they found at the crime scene.
Gary Stone is charged with Pauline Mastin's murder last January.
Stone is currently being held in the Jessamine County Detention Center on gun charges.
