A high school teacher is under arrest and charged with possession of child pornography. It's not his first brush with these types of allegations.
Ken Shadoan was arrested at his Nicholas County home on Wednesday. He's a teacher at Paris Independent High.
This arrest comes four years after Shadoan was cleared of sex charges as a math teacher in Pulaski County. At that time, he was accused of sodomy with a student, but was acquitted.
But now, he faces a new set of charges under new circumstances.
Paris Police say Shadoan has been charged with 25 counts of possession of child pornography.
They say an investigation began after a parent called them, concerned her 17-year-old son's algebra teacher was having inappropriate communications with him.
Police say they searched Shadoan's home and car and have uncovered so much evidence it will take more than a week to sort through it all. The Attorney General's Cyber Unit is helping with the investigation.
Police say more charges are possible when the forensic work is done.
