Teenage Brother & Sister Die in Intersate 75 Crash

Two teens are dead after three major crashes on Interstate 75.

The three accidents happened in a matter of minutes, within miles of each other. The first happened at mile marker 16.

In all 18 cars and trucks were involved in the pile-ups.
Both sides of the interstate were shut down in Whitley County four for hours.

The Whitley County Coroner identified the teens as 16-year old Anthony Wyatt and 13-year old Britney Wyatt.
The two are siblings from Corbin.

Anthony Wyatt was driving at the time of the crash. Police believe wet weather played a role in the crash.

Anthony was a student at Whitley County High School. Britney was a student at Whitley County Middle School.
