An investigation has found no credible evidence that fuel was pumped at a western Kentucky fire station into vehicles that were not responding this year's ice storm.
The investigation began last month after the McCracken County Judge-Executive received an unsigned complaint that included 50 dollars. The writer said was reimbursement for unauthorized fuel he got.
The Reidland fire chief had previously told the Paducah Sun he was confident the investigation wouldn't turn up a crime in how gas and diesel fuel was distributed following January's storm.
