Our focus now turns to the potential of record lows tonight. Many areas may wake up to thermometer readings below zero.
Two people are dead after a violent crash in Jessamine County.
Both were in a car that slid into the path of a furniture delivery truck on U.S. 68, near the Fayette County line.
We're told the road was slick and wet when the crash happened, around 3:30 Friday afternoon.
The victims' names are not being released right now but we're told they're from another country, in Kentucky doing missionary work.
We're told the driver of the truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police had to shutdown U.S. 68 while they cleaned up and investigated the crash. Police hoped to have it back open just after 6:00pm.
