A body has been found in eastern Kentucky, near where authorities have been searching for a missing man.
The remains were found in Knox County. Officials will not say where, only confirming police and state medical examiner Emily Craig are on the scene.
As you may recall, police have searched Knox County for the past month for the body of Jeremy Johnson.
He disappeared last year. Two people have been charged in the case.
Police had been tipped Johnson's remains were somewhere in Knox county, but so far searches have turned up nothing.
Police are not saying at this time that the body just found is that of Johnson, only that an investigation is now underway.
