Two Deputies Continue to Recover at UK Medical Center

Two Clark County Sheriff's Deputies continue to recover after an accident on the Mountain Parkway.

The deputies were responding to a call of shots fired in Wolfe County. Police say Clark County Sheriff's Deputy Ricky Estes stopped to help a driver change a flat tire. That's when investigators say Deputy Troy Thompson rear ended the stopped cruiser.

Both deputies were airlifted to the UK Medical Center. Thompson and Deputy Ricky Estes are both now listed in good condition.
