Police Officer Shot and Killed 
Gunfire erupts after police are called to a Kentucky home and now two people are dead including an officer.
Sergeant David Whitson had been on the Bowling Green force for 8 years. Police say, Tuesday morning, he and three other officers responded to a home on Vine Street. They were called there for a domestic disturbance, and that's when Whitson was fatally shot.
Police tell us a fight broke out at the home once police arrived on scene. Neighbors near the shooting say they heard 4 shots, both Whitson and a suspect were hit. The suspect died at the hospital only 15 minutes after Whitson was pronounced dead.
Bowling Green police say they will hold another press conference Tuesday night and hope to answer more questions. We do know police took one man from the scene, but won't say why at this time.
