LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - The shorter of two runways at Lexington's
Blue Grass Airport has been reopened.
The shorter runway was used by Comair Flight 51-91 when it crashed on takeoff August 27th, killing 49 people.
Officials say the runway will be open for daytime use only by aircraft weighing less than 12-thousand, 500 pounds. They're called "general aviation aircraft."
