Teacher due in court on terroristic threatening charges

Knox Central High School math teacher, Jason Davis, 28, is due in court Thursday to answer to terroristic threatening charges.

Davis was arrested Tuesday for second-degree terroristic threatening.

He is accused of threatening to kill 500 people and put his school in the national news on the last day of school.

Superintendent Walter Hulett says he didn't want to take the accusations lightly, sparking the investigation.

Davis sat down with 27 NEWSFIRST and he says this was all a misunderstanding. He says he was stressed, but didn't threaten anyone.
