Not guilty plea in eastern Ky. murder

The suspect now charged with killing a Knox county man, whose body was just discovered, answered to murder charges Thursday morning.

Daniel Grubb entered a not guilty plea in Knox District Court.

Police say he killed Jeremy Johnson last June,.then buried Johnson's body.

Grubb and Bobby Walters were previously charged with tampering with physical evidence for allegedly hiding both Johnson's body and his car.

Police testified in a preliminary hearing last month that Grubb and Johnson were heard fighting over pills and money and they said they have evidence of Walters talking about how Grubb hit Johnson in the head with a cinder block.

The medical examiner says Johnson died of blunt force trauma to the head.

Grubb remains in the Clay County jail on a $200,000 cash bond.
