Officials have released the name of a woman killed by a poisonous snake during a Sunday morning worship service.
Officials from the Laurel County Sheriff's Department say 48 year old Linda Long was bit in the face during a service at the East Holiness Church in London.
She was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center where she later died.
The church Long attended is known for handling snakes during their services, as part of their religious beliefs.
