Police were called to a Lexington neighborhood after a domestic situation apparently turned violent. It happened on Woodlawn Way in the Masterson Station subdivision about 4:30 Tuesday morning.

That's where the suspect, 29 year old Jonathan Combs, barricaded himself and two children in the home for four hours. Police had to block off Woodlawn Way and evacuated 15-20 neighbor in the Masterson Station Subdivision.

Police tell 27 NEWSFIRST a woman was injured and ran from a house along the street early Tuesday morning. Lexington Police's Emergency Response Unit aided a woman and two children inside an ambulance.
We're told they escaped from the home, but two other children remained in the home during the standoff.

Police say the two children in the home were not harmed. After four hours, police arrested the suspect, ending the standoff with not injuries.
