24 confirmed cases of H1N1 now in Kentucky

As the days go by, we're hearing more and more reports of confirmed cases of the H1N1 virus. Kentucky now has 24 cases.

The latest are in Fayette, Mercer, Jefferson and Lincoln counties.

Madison county has the state's first H1N1 suspected cluster. A resident at an assisted living facility has a confirmed case. There are also 20 suspected cases at that facility. Everyone is being quarantined.

Earlier this week, health officials confirmed H1N1 in a student at Anne Mason Elementary in Scott County. School officials have disinfected the school and are warning other parents to be on the lookout for symptoms of the virus.
