A race in Madison County turned ugly during the final hours of campaigning. A candidate for magistrate is accusing another of destroying campaign signs and says he caught the culprits on videotape!

Almost everywhere you look in Berea there are signs urging people to vote for Combs or Evans for magistrate, but Howard Evans claims his arsenal of campaign signs is down by more than 30 torn and destroyed.

His opponent, Larry Combs has held the job for nearly a quarter century, but Evans contends the destruction of signs is a desperate move. Evans is considering legal action.
