A man suspected in the murder of Long Beach, Mississippi resident, Robert Barnes, is found near Cincinnati, Ohio.
A federal fugitive task force found Richard A. Lambert, aka Jimmy Brantley, at a friend's apartment. A concentrated manhunt that began earlier in the week led them to the apartment.
Authorities say they focused on the suspect after the 79-year-old retiree's mutilated and dismembered body was found in a Pass Christian, Mississippi marina on Monday.
Lambert had stayed several weeks in Mississippi's Gulf Coast at a
bed-and-breakfast across the road from Barnes' home. Police believe he robbed and stabbed his victim.
Authorities have not said whether Barnes was killed at his home or at the marina, which was about six miles away.
