Kentucky's Political World Looks To Governor's Race

With the election in the bag, the eyes of Kentucky's political world have quickly darted to the governor's race.

Democratic Congressman Ben Chandler is meeting with friends and advisers Wednesday. His spokesperson re-iterated it's likely Chandler will stay in Washington with the democratic takeover of the house.

Sources tell us former Governor Brereton Jones will have some kind of announcement in the days ahead. Brereton was at Keeneland Wednesday. Former Lt. Governor Steve Henry has named a campaign spokesperson who says, "Henry's in it" and has a very short list of possible running mates.
