"We lost everything. All my pictures. I can't even prove who I am. Everything was in there," said Shena Miller.

Miller and her husband, Jerry, had only lived in their home on Isom Street for six months. Now all that they owned is gone. Fire consumed the home while the couple was sleeping.

"We pulled up and there was heavy fire through the front of the house and roof," said Jessamine County Fire Chief Michael Rupard.

Firefighters tell 27 NEWSFIRST flames at the Miller's house reached 40 feet in the air. The Miller's say they are grateful to be alive, but they don't know what they will do next.

"Look at it. It's gone," Miller said.
