Harrison County Fire Department were called to a mobile home fire around midnight Friday. Police tell us that's where a mother and son were killed.

Fire officials say the home was fully engulfed by the time they arrived on the scene. Neighbors say the smoke was so thick they couldn't see the home. One neighbor tried to save them, but when he tried to open up the front door, he says it was locked.

Police also say two dogs were killed in the fire.

State Fire Marshals were at the scene Saturday morning, investigating the cause of the fire. So far the cause has not yet been determined.
