Ferrari crash Involved federal agent

An FBI agent had a close call in Lexington Wednesday morning after he crashed a Ferrari into a tree.

We're told the agent was taking the seized sports car to a warehouse to be stored when he lost control, ran off the road and slammed into several trees.

The accident happened on Enterprise Drive off of Old Frankfort Pike.

Police tell us the car was only gong about 40 miles an hour. It's believed a tire may have blown causing the accident.

The agent was taken to the hospital but is expected to be OK.

we're told the Ferrari F-50 is believed to be valued around a half a million dollars.
