Central Kentucky School Receives National Honor

A special honor was announced Monday for a school in downtown Lexington.

Saints Peter and Paul Regional Catholic School has been selected as a national Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education.

The award was based on students scoring in the top ten-percent nationally on standardized tests. It was one of only eight schools in the state to receive the honor.

Saints Peter and Paul School is one of only 43 private schools in the country to achieve Blue Ribbon status.
