A Lexington man, accused of hitting and killing a central Kentucky attorney while driving drunk appeared in court Monday morning.
At the hearing in Fayette Circuit Court, Timothy Geneve waived formal arraignment. He stands charged with manslaughter, which was downgraded from the original murder charge.
Prosecutors requested that Geneve be monitored electronically but the judge will not rule on that request until Geneve appears in court again on Friday.
