Fort Campbell suicides at all time high

Fort Campbell has seen 14 suicides this year, two suspected cases just this week.

Army leaders are meeting with troops at Fort Campbell this week for counseling. Fort Campbell has seen the most suicides of any army base.

Routine duties at the Kentucky base have been set aside for three days so officials can identify and help soldiers at risk.

Brig. Gen. Stephen Townsend is addressing the 25,000 soldiers in the 101st Airborne Division this week. He told a group Wednesday that they, "wouldn't hesitate to seek medical attention for a physical wound," and shouldn't hesitate for a psychological injury either."
