Habitat Volunteers to Finish Mission of Flight 5191 Victim

Updated: Wed 10:54 AM, Jan 17, 2007

Volunteers with Habitat for Humanity will head to the Gulf Coast Thanksgiving week to build and to remember one of their own.
Pat Smith created the Kentucky-Mississippi partnership that focused on rebuilding Gulf port.
Smith died in the crash of Flight 5191.
Smith's family, friends and colleagues met Tuesday night to iron out the details of the trip.
They're hoping to complete Smith's goal of building 13 homes there this year.
The Pat Smith Habitat for Humanity Endowment fund is still collecting money. Their goal is to raise 2-million dollars a year to keep Smith's legacy alive.
