Police are investigating a drive-by shooting involving people waiting in line for a video game.

Dozens of people camped out in front the Best Buy store on Nicholasville Road. They're hoping to get their hands on a Sony PlayStation 3 console. But the wait turned serious when someone drove by and fired shots at people waiting in line.

Four people were hit by the BB pellets, including 27 NEWSFIRST reporter Elizabeth Dorsett. She was interviewing someone in line at the time. None of them were seriously hurt.

Police came to the store to investigate. They're still looking for a suspect. Lexington Police say they'll stay at the Best Buy to make sure people in line stay safe.

The PlayStation 3 goes on sale Friday morning at eight. The consoles are selling for more than $600 a piece.

I think that it is getting pretty bad when you have to be afraid to go out shopping. Some thing needs to be done.

Being new to this part of Kentucky, and coming with major back problems, I want everyone to know how the U.K. Hospital emergency personnel treated me on the eve of 2-17-08. Absolutely wonderful. They were so busy with sick people but they took me in, got me squared away in a very professional matter. Want everyone to know how wonderful they were. Thanks HLH

We just watched the story on the 1974 tornado. I don't know what school of math your newscaster went to but 2008 from 1974 is not 61 years!!!!!! I am 46 years old and I remember the day of the tornado very vividly. You might want to check your math before you make such an idiotic statement.

Mr Alvin Callahan....I am a business owner myself and I understand why you put your little plug in there to wish everyone a Merry Christmas...very funny, although I would check my spelling before I posted a comment if I were you. Also you should make it a little more coherent.Because if you cannot spell correctly it makes your business look bad and incompetant, even though it probably isnt. Just some advice from a fellow entenpreneur.

these people out here shooting people,(everywere)and its happens alot here in irvine seems, should be put on a good farm some where fenced, and given a sack of corn, a sack of beans, and a sack of seed potatoes, and a box of matches and thats it,and if they grow there food they eat,if not then they dont, they will find a way to make a shelter, were it being a hole or useing the brush laying around to make one, after all these kind of people out here shooting and a killing always figure out a easy way to beat or take what they want, think about it for a moment, wouldnt this take care of a lot of problems on down the road?
