Nativity thieves sentenced to time behind bars

They stole baby Jesus from the manger last December, and now two Pulaski County men are learning that thou shalt not steal.

Both Nicholas Brainard and David Gialdini pleaded guilty to a string of thefts in one Somerset neighborhood last year. Police say the men took street signs, holiday decorations, lights, and a figure of Jesus from houses in the Winding Ridge subdivision.

The men were sentenced to one year in jail. They'll have have to serve 45 days of that sentence.
