Three Injured In Crash; Power Knocked Out

A serious accident Thursday night in Lincoln County sends three people to the hospital and knocks out power to dozens. It happened on Highway 78 just east of Hustonville.

The Sheriff's Department says a driver lost control of a car, dropped off the side of the road, and flipped into a utility pole.

Investigators believe the wet roads may have played a role in the crash.

We're told one of the victims needed to be air lifted to a hospital, but the helicopter couldn't respond because of the weather.

Power was restored to the Hustonville area around ten.
