Heavy snow is taking its time moving through the state of Kentucky. This will be a historic once its all said and done with a few spots around a foot of snow.
It only took four days, and already $3 million federal dollars is approved to help Kentucky flood victims.
So far, about 1,800 people in four Eastern Kentucky counties have registered for help.
FEMA has okayed more than $3 million dollars to cover rent for alternative housing and other serious disaster needs.
Tomorrow morning, the five FEMA recovery centers will be open in Breathitt, Floyd, Pike, and Owsley counties.
