An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday morning on the man gunned down inside a Lexington middle school Tuesday morning. The Fayette County coroner's office revealed Tuesday night that 38-year old Jose Daniel Donato was shot several times.

An all-out search continues for the suspected gunman, 27-year-old Brian Allen McGuire. He was a custodian at Leestown Middle School, where the shooting took place. Donato also worked at the school as a custodian.

Police say the two had a history of conflict.

Police say McGuire should be considered armed and dangerous. He may be driving a beige 2006 Suzuki Gran Vitara bearing KY registration 769-FVB.

Because of the shooting, school officials are in the process of changing the locks at the school.

All schools in the county were placed on lock-down Tuesday. All Fayette County Schools and Lexington Parks and Recreation ESP programs for Wednesday have been canceled.

There were also police on site at Fayette County's Central Office, on Main Street, Tuesday. Those officers may be back Wednesday morning to ensure school leader's safety.

It is absolutely amazing to me how people are so quick to judge and make assumptions when all of the facts are not even known yet.

Chris, ok... let me get my facts straight. A.) you live down the street and B.) you have two younger cousins who currently go to Leestown. Both of thess statements are even more of a reason for you to stop being part of the problem by complaining and start being part of the solution. The fact that you live down the street means that you are part of the community and should work to make the community a safe place to live for yourself as well as others. Furthermore, the fact that you have two cousins that attend Leestown and that you HAVE NOT volunteered your time makes a huge statement. Don't you want your cousins to have positive role models? Why not stand up and be one of those positive role models by showing them what it means to be an active member in the community!
