Wreck On I-64 Leaves One Trapped In Truck, Another Airlifted To Hospital

Kentucky State Police were called to a terrible accident on Interstate 64 Saturday afternoon.

State police tell 27 NEWSFIRST a two-door truck flipped in the interstate, sending it over an embankment near the Montgomery/Bath County line.

We're told one person in the car had to be airlifted to a hospital. State police say the second person involved in the wreck was trapped inside the truck. Firefighters had to cut that person out of the truck and was then taken to a nearby hospital.
