Country Singer Pleaded Guilty Today For Killing Tame Bear

Country singer Troy Lee Gentry pleaded guilty today to a charge of killing a tame bear that he first claimed was killed in the wild.
The plea means Gentry will avoid a trial but will have to pay a $15,000 fine and agree to give up hunting, fishing, and trapping in Minnesota for five years.
Minnesota is where this happened in 2004.
Gentry, a member of the duo Montgomery Gentry, must also forfeit the bear's hide and bow he used to shoot it.
