Potential Hit List Discovered At Central Kentucky School

Video will be available shortly

Some school safety concerns in Anderson County.
Letters went home Monday with students alerting parents of a potential student hit list.

That list included close to 20 names of students and even teachers.

A student found a crumbled up piece of paper in the hall ways of Anderson Middle School. The Superintendent says the words "Hit List" were on the top.

Some parents questioned why they didn't learn about the note until Monday.

The school did call every parent whose child was named on the list.

The school continues to investigate this case, but right now they don't know who wrote the hit list or whether the student intended to act.
The Superintendent tells 27 NEWSFIRST they have been able to narrow it down to an 8th grader.

Last year we're told a similar note was found on campus.
