Lexington Police Step Up Patrols Near UK Campus

Lexington Police are concerned after a second reported attack near the UK Campus.

The Department is going the extra mile to make sure people living near the UK campus feel safe. They're also trying to catch a suspect.

Lexington Police activated the CLEAR Unit, which stands for Community Law Enforcement Action Response. They have patrols on bikes, in cars, and on foot 24-hours a day in those neighborhoods.

They're also drawing up some safety tips for the residents and they plan to deliver those door to door within a week.
