The change to complete snow continues to work southward across Kentucky. Snow rates will come in around 1" to 2" per hour. Those rates could be even higher under some of the more intense bands.
A state of emergency has been declared for parts of Eastern Kentucky.
Heavy rains have caused rivers and creeks to overflow, flooding streets and homes in Pike County.
Volunteer firefighters made several rescues across the county. Homes are flooded in the Zebulon and Sidney communities, where crews had to get people out. Firefighters rescued several people stuck in cars.
Even emergency crews are not immune, the Big Creek Fire Department is also flooded with at least three -feet of water inside.
